What is Kindness Week?
Kindness Week is a campus wide initiative taking place February 11-15. This is a week dedicated to students doing as many kind acts as possible at school and at home. Throughout the week, all students will be participating in The Great Kindness Challenge. The Great Kindness Challenge is a grassroots movement that is making our schools, communities, and world a kinder and more compassionate place for all. Nearly 20,000 schools and over 100 countries have participated in the Great Kindness Challenge. Working together, we joyfully prove that KINDNESS MATTERS!
On Monday, students will be given a kindness challenge checklist. In High School, students are being asked to complete 40 out of the 50 challenges. In Middle School, students are being asked to complete 35 out of the 50 challenges. Our 3rd and 4th grade students are being challenged to complete 20 tasks. Our 1st-2nd grade students and our Early Childhood are being asked to complete 9 acts of kindness. Below are buttons to each checklist that will be distributed along with a parent edition if you would like to participate along with your child.

For our Middle School and High School Divisions, kindness week will coincide with Spiritual Emphasis week. Our hope is that kindness week will help show students that kindness is a strength, that how we treat others is important and that Jesus calls us to love and care for one another.
Kindness Week is being led by our School Counselors:
Tiffany Raley, PLPC – Early Childhood/Elementary
Lisa Mayet, LPC – Middle School
Kelsea Thomas, MSW, LMSW – High School
