Athletic competition for Parkview Baptist middle school and high school students is a vital part of their all-around educational experience. Parkview Baptist School endeavors to provide the best facilities, high quality instruction and a nurturing environment for life lessons through our athletic department. Our Middle School sponsors operates under the direction of Athletic Director, Danny Smith, Middle School Athletic Director, Scott Dieterich and a staff of highly qualified and experienced coaches.
Since 1981, our athletic program has grown and developed into one of the top programs in the East Baton Rouge parish and the state of Louisiana. While winning is not everything, we work to compete at the highest level possible within the scope of the rules of the LHSAA and the spirit of the game. PBS coaches and athletes are always striving to keep the right perspective in good sportsmanship, Christ-like attitudes and a servant spirit.
Participation in athletics and other activities is governed by the LHSAA (Louisiana High School Athletic Association) of which Parkview Baptist School is a member.
In response to recent events at area schools, Parkview Baptist will be implementing the following additional policies at all LHSAA and predetermined athletic events held on the campus including athletic fields and gyms.
1. Only CLEAR bags smaller than 12”x 6” x 12” will be allowed into all PBS Athletic venues.
2. No outside food or drink (including coolers) allowed in any PBS Athletic venue.
3. If you see anything concerning, please report it to one of the police officers or any school administrator.
Guests with bags or items that do not satisfy the PBS fan entrance policy are encouraged to return their bags or items to their vehicle.
We are still accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year.
