Description: The mission of the PBS Drama Club is to bring together students who share a passion for theater and performing arts.
Purpose: Promote learning about theater through major productions, activities, trips, and student-directed productions that enhance the educational goals of the theater discipline’s courses and productions while glorifying God.
Membership Criteria: Open to all students who wish to promote theater and performing arts on campus and in the community. Membership is established by signing up for the club. Each member must have a minimum of 5 merits per semester. A merit represents one hour of work on a show, either on or off stage, attendance at a performance on or off campus, fundraising efforts, and work on tasks such as strike after a production or organizing costumes and props. Members also receive merits for attending drama club meetings. Meetings will be held in room E206 during lunch.
Maximum Capacity: 40
Dues/Fees: None
Competitions/Events: Members perform various duties for the spring musical and other PBS productions. They will also attend productions in the community. Club members are encouraged to audition for the Parkview shows, but performance in a show is not a requirement. Students are also encouraged to work backstage for Parkview shows.
