Participation in our athletic program provides our student-athletes with the opportunity to pursue excellence, build long-lasting relationships, and grow both physically and emotionally. We believe that our athletic teams are an extension of our classrooms. Through quality training and teaching, our student-athletes develop life-long skills that will assist them with any future endeavor.
Since 1981, our athletic program has grown and developed into one of the top programs in the East Baton Rouge parish and the state of Louisiana. While winning is not everything, we work to compete at the highest level possible within the scope of the rules of the LHSAA and the spirit of the game. PBS coaches and athletes are always striving to keep the right perspective in good sportsmanship, Christ-like attitudes and a servant spirit.
Participation in athletics and other activities is governed by the LHSAA (Louisiana High School Athletic Association) of which Parkview Baptist School is a member.
At the conclusion of 2023-2024 school year, fifteen seniors committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at some of the most prestigious universities around the country. Four state titles were won: Cross Country, Girls Basketball, Girls Soccer & Girls Track & Field.
FAN ENTRANCE POLICY
In response to recent events at area schools, Parkview Baptist will be implementing the following additional policies at all LHSAA and predetermined athletic events held on the campus including athletic fields and gyms.
1. No outside food or drink (including coolers) allowed in any PBS Athletic venue.
2. If you see anything concerning, please report it to one of the police officers or any school administrator.
Guests with bags or items that do not satisfy the PBS fan entrance policy are encouraged to return their bags or items to their vehicle.
CASHLESS GATE
All tickets can be purchased through Slocal. We no longer accept cash at the gate. Tickets go live every Friday for the following weeks games. Instructions are below. Your electronic ticket will be scanned at the gate.
PBS students receive admission into all regular season home games. This excludes jamborees, playoffs, etc. Middle School & High School students, please remember to bring your ID’s.
