CRCL Flight Tour

The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL) sponsored a flight tour along the Mississippi River Delta to engage citizens and raise awareness of our land loss problems and the multiple solutions being employed. The tour included Parkview’s own Lesley Meaux, who joined in discussions, expanded her knowledge, and gained a new perspective on the ecological challenges of Louisiana’s coast. Mrs. Meaux was actually the first science teacher in the state that was invited along for the trip.  CRCL hopes that engagement of key stakeholders, like Environmental Science teachers, will result in a broader reach of the population becoming more aware, informed, and involved in a successful path toward restoring the coast.
