Cross Country Homestretch

The Parkview Baptist Cross Country teams are in the midst of another outstanding season as we come in to the homestretch.  The varsity teams participated in the Pre-State Meet at NSU in Natchitoches this weekend, site of the state meet.  This coming weekend will include running at the Westgate Invitational in Lafayette.  After those two meets, the most important meets of the season will remain – Baton Rouge Metro and the 3A State Championship Meet.  The top runners for the varsity team so far this season have been sophomore Dawson and junior Amber.  The top two runners for the middle school teams have been 8th grader Alex, who has won 5 consecutive races, and 7th grader, Ariel.
