Jenny GaryJenny Gary, Middle School Science

BS – Wildlife Management, LSU

MS – Wildlife Management (Natural Science and Biology), LSU

Favorite Snowball flavor: Strawberry Cheesecake

What is a super interesting fact about you?  I trapped & tracked nuisance blackbears in south Louisiana swamps for my Masters Thesis at LSU.

If you could take three things to a desert island what would they be? My bible, a fire starter, & machete. (From watching survival shows, staying motivated -my Bible offers this-, starting & maintaining a fire, & making shelter -my machete- seems to be the hardest & and most vital parts of survival).

Why is Christian Education important? Jesus used the parable of building a house (our spirtiuality) on a solid foundation (God). A Christian education provides young people with this opportunity, to construct a good life built on the biblical principles that provides them with the solid & strong foundation for all other things in their lives to be built.

What is your favorite Bible verse? Phil 4:13: “I can do everything through him who gives me strength”.
