Forget The Monday Blues, There’s Chicks On The Move
Biology students had the opportunity to experience the development and birth of chickens in a classroom embryology project. Mrs. Polk’s classes were able to track the development of the chicken embryos through candling, the process of shining a light through the eggs, as they developed over a 21-day period. The chicks began hatching Friday, and students were greeted Monday morning by six Black Australorp and Ameraucana chicks.
