PBS Attends Annual LAIS Conference

Last week, our faculty attended the Louisiana Association of Independent Schools (LAIS) conference held at The Dunham School. Our teachers began their day with keynote speaker, Annette Breaux, who challenged our faculty to stay positive, engaged, and reach out to each and every student because after all, you can always make a difference.

Teachers then had the opportunity to attend several breakout sessions pertaining to their interest and field. Several PBS teachers presented on various topics and had a chance to share with others the things that make our classrooms the best they can be.

Debbie Silver’s afternoon keynote encouraged teachers to be personable and build their students up through mistakes and failures.
