The primary purpose of our spirit teams are to promote sportsmanship within our school and among other schools. Each team member is to serve as a spirit leader and an ambassador of Parkview Baptist School. Team members are involved in helping to promote a positive image of PBS as well as be leaders in the community and surrounding areas.
High School Cheerleading
High School (rising 9th-rising 12th grade) Cheerleading tryouts for the 2024-2025 school year will be held March 28.
Tuesday, March 12 – Mandatory Parent Meeting at 6 p.m. in the Private Dining Room
Tuesday & Wednesday, March 26 & 27 – Clinics are required and will be from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at LA Cheerz on the corner of Antioch & Jefferson
Thursday, March 28 – Tryouts at 3:30 p.m. at LA Cheerz on the corner of Antioch & Jefferson – Attire for tryouts is a black bottom, black top and red, white or blue ribbon
Middle School Cheerleading
Middle School (rising 5th-rising 8th grade) tryouts for the 2024-2025 school year will be held March 21.
Monday & Tuesday, March 18 & 19 – Clinics are required and will be from 3:15 – 5:00 p.m. in the PBS Middle School Gym – Attire for clinics are shorts & Parkview t-shirt
Thursday, March 21 – Tryouts at 3:15 p.m. until completed in the PBS Middle School Gym – Attire for tryouts are plain black top (no writing, no crop tops), black bottoms (shorts / skirt / skort; no Nike Pro style shorts), cheer / tennis shoes, all hair in high ponytail, white, red or blue ribbon, no jewelry and natural or no make-up
