Parkview Baptist Gymnastics Gears Up For State Meet

Parkview Baptist Gymnastics continues to make history as they compete at the LHSAA State Meet for the first time this Saturday. Seven student-athletes have represented Parkview thus far this season with a very strong showing at each meet.

Hannah – Level 8
Kinsey – Level 8
Jolie – Level 8
Lillian – Level 8
Lylah – Level 8
Peyton – Level 4
Brexley – Level 3

Brexley placed second overall at the Parkview Invitational and Hannah placed third all around at the Baton Rouge Invitational.

LHSAA Gymnastics follows the standard events: vault, bars, beam and floor. Students may compete only Level 3, 4 or 8. There will be 26 schools represented at the state meet on Saturday and over 190 gymnasts.

Per our knowledge, Parkview Baptist Gymnastics is the first school to establish a gymnastics team in over 50 years. We look forward to the success of this program and wish all of the girls the best of luck as they take the floor.
