Three Eagles Sign Baseball National Letters of Intent
Parkview Baptist seniors Ryan Harland, Brennan Holt and Hunter Ponson signed a letter of intent to play collegiate baseball on Wednesday, November 11.
Harland is a left-handed pitcher who will join Louisiana Tech as a preferred walk-on for the 2022 season. In three seasons with Parkview, Harland notched a 4-2 record with a 4.60 era and 63 strikeouts.
Holt, who signed with LSU, is ranked the No. 5 player in the state of Louisiana by Prep Baseball and is also ranked the No. 9 player in Louisiana by Perfect Game. A three-time Under Armour Pre-Season All American selection, Holt has posted a .357 average with 60 runs and 31 RBI in three seasons.
Ponson signed with LSU-E after starring as a two-way player for the Eagles. On the mound, Ponson notched a 9-1 record in 23 games with a 2.28 and 65 strikeouts, while also hitting .282 with 14 RBI in three seasons.
