7th Grade Second Breakfast
At the end of the first quarter seventh grade students at Parkview Baptist School closed out their Language and Literature unit on The Hobbit with a celebratory Second Breakfast. In the world of Middle-earth hobbits are well known for their love of good food and company. In keeping with the novel, Mrs. McGehee, the 7th grade Language and Literature teacher, organized a Second Breakfast for students that featured scones, tea, and novel themed word searches and puzzles. The students also had a photo op with Gandalf and Gollum. Second Breakfast gave the students a wonderful opportunity to come together as a class to share and learn about the values in The Hobbit.
