Name:
– Ms. Wendi Thibodeaux
Grades and Subjects Teaching:
– 4th Grade ELA
Year you began your teaching career:
– 1997
Degrees:
– B.S. in Elementary Education from LSU
– M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction & M. Ed. in Educational Administration from LeTourneau University
Tell us about your family:
– I have a daughter, Lexi (20), who is a junior at Texas State University, and a son, Luke (17), who is a senior in high school in Tomball, TX, and two fur babies, JoJo (tea cup Yorkie – 10 years old) and Jax (Goldendoodle – 10 months old). Additionally, God has blessed me with my best friend and soul mate, Bobby, to enjoy life with.

I have watched my two nieces (PBS class of 2020 and 2022) and nephew (PBS class of 2018) attend Parkview since they were all in the nursery program and knew that I wanted to be part of this strong Christian community.

Do you have an interesting fact?
– I used to live in Scotland.
– I love to go for a boat ride in the evenings.
– My favorite time of the day is first thing in the morning.
Why is Christian education important?
– Christian education is important to me because educating a child goes way beyond reading, writing, and arithmetic. Being in Christian education allows me to teach students about Jesus in addition to the traditional academics. Additionally, being able to begin and end each day and class with prayer is also very important to me.
