BulahBots! Compete in 2019 Bayou Regional
Our BulahBots! Robotics team is currently competing in the Bayou Regional at the Ponchartrain Center in Kenner, LA. Sixty robotics teams compete in a 2 day long event. While most of the teams are from the Southeast United States, there are also teams from Turkey, The Netherlands, and Mexico. These 120lb and 4ft tall robots compete on a basketball court sized arena. Part of this year’s competition is to get an alliance teammate up on the third level of the habitat. The BulahBots! have designed a robot that competes by placing hatches, but also gives their teammates a helping hand getting to the third level. This year’s robot is the smaller robot in the video below that deploys the ramp.
