What is Jr. Beta Club?

The National BETA Club was founded in 1934, and has become the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. It recognizes high academic achievement, promotes character, social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, fosters leadership skills, and provides settings for middle school students to develop interpersonal relationship skills.
The Parkview Baptist School chapter of the National Junior Beta club was established in 1985. Induction takes place in September/October each year. In order to be eligible for Junior Beta Induction, 6th-8th grade students have to earn and maintain a weighted GPA of 3.75 or higher in all classes. Members are required to complete 5 service hours each school year.
