Jermaine Williams Named Head Boys Basketball Coach

Parkview Baptist School is pleased to announce Jermaine Williams has been named Head Boys Basketball coach. Jermaine is a 1998 graduate of Parkview Baptist School. During his career at PBS, Jermaine was a member of the 1997 and 1998 State Championship Basketball team and 3-time district champions. He was also awarded All District, All Metro, All State, and ranked in the Top 100 USA TODAY High School Basketball Players.

After high school, Jermaine received a basketball scholarship to Louisiana State University. He was a two year starter and member of the SEC Conference Championship and Sweet 16 in the 1999-2000 season.

Following college, Jermaine began a professional career in basketball that featured him playing in England, Iceland, Switzerland and Australia. While overseas, he earned several accolades including MVP, International Sports Personality of the Year, All-Star Forward and Leading League Scorer.

Jermaine has served at PBS over the last two years as the High School PE Teacher and Assistant Basketball Coach of both the girls and boys team.
