Senior Beta State Convention
The state convention for Louisiana Senior Beta Clubs was held February 7-9th at the Raising Cane’s River Center and included 6,700 students (the largest in the U.S.). Parkview Senior Betas proudly represented PBS with their many talents and skills, including academic tests in Math, English, History, Science, Spanish, a novels team who read 10 books, Beta Build engineering team, a vocal soloist, mixed media arts, watercolor, and drawing.
PBS was represented by 48 Beta students and came home with a State Champion in Mixed Media Art (Amanda) and a State Runner-Up in 9th grade Math (Ashlin). Our club was presented with the G.O.L.D. Key Award for increasing our presence at the convention, and we made a $500 donation to CASA of Louisiana.
