Varsity Track and Field Results

Congratulations to our varsity boys and girls track teams for their recent successes at the District and Regional meets.  Our girls won the District 6-3A Championship for the 4th year in a row.  The boys placed 2nd for the second year in a row, which is their highest finish ever.  At Regionals, the boys accomplished another first by finishing as Regional runner-up while the girls placed 5th.  As a result of the outstanding performances at the Regional meet last week, several of our athletes qualified for the State Meet at LSU this coming Saturday.  They include the following:
Tzuriel – Javelin Throw, Discus Throw and Shot Put
Dawson – Pole Vault, 4 x 400 Relay
Alex – 800m Run, 4 x 400m Relay
Trey – Pole Vault
Conley – 4x 400m Relay
Kai – 4 x 400 Relay
Kameron – Pole Vault
Jaden – Triple Jump
Ariel – High Jump
Leanne – Javelin Throw
Josie – 3200m Run
