Parent Informational Meeting with Paul Coughlin of The Protectors (www.theprotectors.org)

Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 6:30 in the PBC Sanctuary

While attending a Christian School conference, Dr. Mayes was introduced to Paul Coughlin and the Protectors. The Protectors is an intentional program that provides a Christian approach to bullying prevention. This character based program focuses on creating a school culture where bullying is something that everyone is against. Paul is an expert in this area and has had much success in both public and private schools.

Paul is meeting with all of our staff on Monday during our PD day, but we believe it is very important for our parents to hear about this program and approach as well. We want our entire school community to embrace the culture we want to create on our campus. On Wednesday night, we will have a meeting for all of our parents who are interested in this subject, especially our PK-8th grade parents as this will be an area of specific focus.  During the meeting Paul will be speaking about what bullying is and isn’t, and how everyone can work together to both identify and counter bullying when it occurs.

Please make every effort to come out to hear what Paul has to say and be educated on the steps Parkview will be taking to ensure the very best environment possible for all of our students.
