A Spot of Tea in English AP
Students in Ms. Sophia Holland’s Advanced Placement English class enjoyed a tea party with Tetley tea, finger sandwiches, cheese straws and scones, to celebrate the culmination of their study of the Emily Bronte book Jane Eyre. Mrs. Courtney Haindel, Director of Marketing and Enrollment at PBS, came to the class to tell stories about her year as an exchange student in Yorkshire, England, the setting of Jane Eyre. After enjoying the tea party, the class watched the movie version of Jane Eyre. These 20 AP English students will sit for the AP English exam in May.
