Welcome to our New High School English Teacher, Grace Clement (English III)

How long have you been teaching and where did you receive your training? I have been teaching  High School English in Covington since 2011. I received my Undergraduate degree in English Education from Mississippi College and I am currently working on my Masters of Educational Leadership.

Tell us about your family. I have two fur babies named Layla and Indiana Jones. Layla is a mastiff, and Indy is a boxer mix.

What made you want to come to Parkview Baptist? I am originally from Baton Rouge, and I wanted to move home. Parkview interested me because of the family like atmosphere.

What’s a super interesting fact about Ms. Clement? I lived in London for a semester in college.

What would you take to a desert island…three things! Both my dogs and my Kindle.

What is your hidden talent? I have superb organizational skills.

Why is Christian education so important? I love the fact that I can speak about my faith in an open environment. Christ is the center of my life, and being able to tell others about him is my passion.

Favorite Bible verse? Psalm 61:2 – from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
