4th Graders Honor Fallen First Responders

This past Friday, our fourth grade students had the privilege of assisting Resthaven Funeral Home in honoring some very special groups of people.  They had the honor of leading the Pledge of Allegiance and participating in a balloon launch at a ceremony remembering the fallen first responders of the 9/11 attacks and our three local heroes in the police force that gave their lives in July.  While this was an event to remember those fallen heroes, we also celebrated the First Responders that were in attendance and we thank them for always protecting and serving.
