Parkview Baptist School Named a 2025–2026 National Beta School of Merit

Parkview Baptist School is proud to announce that we have been recognized as a 2025–2026 National Beta School of Merit, a distinguished honor awarded by the National Beta organization.

This national recognition is presented to schools that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to fostering academic achievement, leadership, character, and service through active participation in National Beta. Schools receiving the School of Merit distinction have successfully inducted qualifying students into the organization while providing meaningful opportunities for members to grow as leaders, serve others, and pursue excellence both inside and outside the classroom.

At Parkview, the Four A’s—Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Abundant Life—serve as the foundation of our mission, and National Beta provides another avenue for students to live out those values. Through academic competitions, leadership development, service projects, and state and national conventions, our Beta members are challenged to use their God-given gifts to make a positive impact in their school and community.

This recognition also reflects the dedication of our faculty sponsors who invest countless hours mentoring students and creating opportunities for them to excel. Their leadership, combined with the hard work and commitment of our students, continues to uphold the high standards of excellence that define Parkview Baptist School.

Earlier this year, several of our students represented Parkview at the Louisiana Senior Beta Convention, where they showcased their academic talents against some of the state’s best. Most notably, Tony DeBenedetto earned the opportunity to compete at the National Senior Beta Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, where he placed 8th in the nation in 9th Grade Biomedical Health Sciences—an incredible accomplishment that exemplifies the excellence of our Beta program.

Being named a National Beta School of Merit is more than an award—it’s a reflection of a school community committed to developing students who lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and strive for excellence in every area of life.
