The transition to high school is an exciting and important milestone, and at Parkview Baptist School, we are committed to walking alongside our families every step of the way. To help prepare for this next chapter, we are excited to host Hype to High School on Thursday, February 12 at 6:00 p.m.
This parents-only event is designed specifically for our current 8th grade families and will provide clarity, encouragement, and insight into what the high school experience at PBS looks like. The evening will begin in the school cafeteria before moving into the high school building, where parents will have the opportunity to hear directly from High School Administration.
During the evening, families will learn more about academics, student life, expectations, and the many opportunities available to students as they move into high school. Parents will also have the chance to visit classrooms, see learning spaces firsthand, and gain a deeper understanding of how PBS partners with families to develop students who are college-ready, Christ-centered, and committed to growth.
Hype to High School is intentionally designed to answer questions, ease concerns, and help families feel confident and excited about the road ahead. Transitioning to high school is a significant step, and we believe that strong communication and partnership between school and home are key to a successful experience.
We look forward to welcoming our 8th grade parents for an evening of connection, information, and encouragement as we prepare together for this exciting next chapter at Parkview Baptist School.
