Parkview Baptist School is thrilled to celebrate senior Ray Pineda, who has been selected as a QuestBridge National College Match Scholar, one of the most prestigious and competitive scholarship honors available to high-achieving students nationwide.

Each year, QuestBridge partners with top universities across the country to connect exceptional students with full, four-year scholarships. Out of tens of thousands of applicants, only a select group of finalists are matched — and this year, Ray earned one of those coveted spots.

Through the National College Match, Ray has been awarded a full scholarship to the University of Chicago, valued at approximately $98,000 per year for the next four years. This life-changing award covers tuition, housing, meals, books, and more at one of the most academically rigorous and respected institutions in the world.

Ray’s journey to this moment has been marked by outstanding academic achievement, leadership, humility, and perseverance. Whether in the classroom, within student organizations, or in the broader PBS community, Ray has fully embodied our high school mission: Christ-Centered, Committed to Growth, and College-Ready.

This achievement reflects not only Ray’s dedication, but also the encouragement of his teachers, family, peers, and the many people who have walked alongside him during his years at Parkview. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and determination that brought him to this milestone.

As Ray prepares for the next chapter of his academic journey at the University of Chicago, we celebrate this remarkable accomplishment and look forward to seeing all that God will continue to do in his life.

Please join us in congratulating Ray on this extraordinary honor!
Way to soar, Eagle!
