Dear Parkview Baptist Community,

On behalf of the Parkview Baptist Superintendent Search Committee, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John Kennedy as the new Superintendent of Parkview Baptist School. This decision comes after a thorough, prayerful, and diligent search process conducted by our Board of Directors and Search Committee.

Mr. Kennedy brings to this role over 13 years of proven success in educational leadership, combined with 25 years of distinguished experience in the business world. This rare combination equips him with both the strategic insight and operational expertise essential to lead a complex and growing ministry like Parkview Baptist School. His background is not only broad, it is remarkably deep in the skills that matter most for this position: leadership, organizational management, and community engagement.

Throughout his career, John has demonstrated a clear ability to bring people together, drive innovation, and steward institutions with both care and competence. He is no stranger to educational settings, having led schools through seasons of growth, development, and enrichment. His leadership is marked by humility, discernment, and a Christ-centered approach to every challenge he faces.  Most importantly, John is driven by a passion for the Lord, a genuine love for students, and an unwavering commitment to Christian education. He is a servant leader whose values align seamlessly with Parkview’s mission of developing the whole child academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially.

As we reflect on Philippians 2:3-4, “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves,” we are confident that John embodies this spirit of humble, mission-driven leadership. He is not stepping into this role to merely manage a school; he is here to invest in the lives of our students and families with purpose and intentionality. We invite you to watch a quick introduction video from Mr. Kennedy below.

We also want to take a moment to thank Mr. Phillip Parker for his faithful service as Interim Superintendent. His leadership during a challenging transitional season has been deeply appreciated.

To our faculty, staff, and administration, thank you for your perseverance, your faith, and your unwavering commitment to our mission — especially during what has been a challenging and transformative year.

To our parents, thank you for your continued faith in Parkview Baptist School and your partnership in the education and discipleship of your children. We ask for your continued prayers and support as we welcome John Kennedy into this new role. We are entering an exciting new chapter, and we do so with confidence in the leadership God has provided for this season.
