A New Era for PBS Female Athletes: Girls Athletic Locker Room Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
On a beautiful sunny day, the Parkview Baptist School community gathered to celebrate a monumental moment in Eagle athletics—the official ribbon cutting ceremony for our brand-new Girls Athletic Locker Room. This event marked more than just the opening of a physical space; it was a powerful affirmation of our commitment to championing our female athletes and investing in the future of women’s sports at PBS.
Surrounded by the joyful sounds of our band, spirited cheerleaders, and proud Silver Steppers, students, coaches, administrators, and supporters stood shoulder to shoulder in front of the new facility. With an air of excitement, we honored and thanked our generous donor families—those whose vision and support made this dream a reality. Their belief in the importance of providing resources and opportunities for our athletes will impact generations of Eagles to come.
After prayers and words of gratitude and celebration, an extra-large pair of ceremonial scissors sliced through the ribbon, and the crowd flooded into the new space. Inside, the locker room buzzed with excitement as student-athletes explored their new home—complete with modern amenities, ample storage, and team-building areas designed to fuel both performance and unity.
This locker room is more than just a place to prepare for games. It’s a space where character will be shaped, leadership will be forged, and lifelong friendships will be formed. Our girls teams—who continue to compete at the highest levels and bring home championship titles—now have a space that matches their excellence, grit, and determination.
Even more special is knowing that the youngest Eagles, now watching from the sidelines or cheering in the stands, will one day suit up in this very space—chasing their own dreams with the same heart and pride.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in making this space a reality. With this locker room, we don’t just build for today—we build for tomorrow. Here’s to many more victories, on and off the field.
