Parkview Baptist School Announces Devin Ducote as Head Football Coach and director of football advancement
Parkview Baptist School is proud to announce the hiring of Devin Ducote (‘07) as the new Head Football Coach and Director of Football Advancement. A 2007 graduate of Parkview Baptist, Coach Ducote returns to his alma mater with a passion for excellence and a deep desire to invest in the next generation of Eagles.
Coach Ducote brings a wealth of experience at the highest levels of football, including collegiate stops at LSU, Auburn University, the University of Kansas, and the University of Central Florida. Most recently, he served as Head Football Coach at West Feliciana High School and Defensive Coordinator at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, leading highly successful programs both on and off the field.
Throughout his career, Coach Ducote has built a reputation for leadership, integrity, and a commitment to developing young athletes not only as players but as men of character. His coaching accolades include multiple bowl appearances, conference championships, and recognition as a standout player and leader during his own college career at Stephen F. Austin State University. As the Director of Football Advancement, Coach Ducote will ensure alignment in coaching philosophies, athlete development, and program standards across all levels, fostering a unified vision for long-term success.
Coach Ducote shared, “Parkview Baptist is a special place and had a tremendous impact on my life. I am humbled and honored to serve our student athletes, coaches and community. God continued to open the doors that led to this incredible opportunity. I would like to thank Mr. Parker, Mr. McCulloch and Coach Smith for entrusting me with our program and culture. I look forward to the responsibility and know it will take tremendous energy and passion to help these young men and Parkview Baptist Football reach its personal best. As a program, we are excited to rekindle old relationships and engage with all proud Alumni. We are ready to get to work.”
We are thrilled to welcome Coach Ducote back to Parkview Baptist School and look forward to an exciting new chapter for our football program under his leadership. A meeting for all Middle School and High School football student athletes will be announced later this week.
