Class of 2025 Senior Retreat: A Day of Connection, Prayer, and Preparation for the Future

With graduation just a couple of months away, the Class of 2025 recently stepped away from their daily routines for a meaningful and memorable Senior Retreat at Barnhill Preserve. This special day, designed to foster connection, reflection, and adventure, was a time for seniors to pray together, strengthen friendships, and embrace the values that define their PBS journey.

As these students prepare to walk across the stage as PBS graduates, they are not just leaving with a diploma—they are stepping forward as leaders, servants, and young men and women of faith who embody the Portrait of a PBS Graduate:

📖 Committed to a Biblical worldview and Christian values
❤️ Able to articulate a personal testimony and relationship with Jesus Christ
🎓 Equipped to perform with distinction at the next academic level
🦅 Exemplifies high moral standards and personifies the school mission statement
🙌 Committed to serving others and improving one’s community
✨ Recognizes and develops their unique gifts and talents and uses them to glorify God

A Retreat to Remember

Each group had their own dedicated day at Barnhill Preserve, where they participated in activities that reflected PBS’s commitment to Abundant Life and Student Life:

Adventuring Together – Students zip-lined through the trees, supporting and encouraging one another to step outside their comfort zones.

Up-Close Animal Encounters – They had the chance to hold and pet some of Barnhill Preserve’s cutest residents, sharing moments of laughter and joy.

Sharing a Meal – A simple meal became a moment of reflection, conversation, and deepening friendships as they cherished their time together.

Prayer & Encouragement – The most meaningful part of the retreat was the time spent praying over each other, lifting up classmates and seeking God’s guidance for the next chapter of their lives.

A Time to Reflect and Look Ahead

With graduation approaching, the Senior Retreat serves as a reminder of how far they’ve come and the exciting future ahead. Their PBS journey has prepared them to be leaders of character, faith, and excellence—ready to impact the world for Christ.

We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025 and look forward to celebrating all they have accomplished as they prepare for graduation!
