High School Band Brings Mardi Gras Magic to Early Childhood! 🎭🎶
Mardi Gras fun made its way to our youngest Eagles as members of the PBS High School Band visited the Early Childhood Division for a special Mardi Gras music experience! 🎺🎷💜💛💚
Even though cold weather pushed the celebration indoors, it didn’t stop the excitement! The little Eagles were captivated as they watched and listened to the larger-than-life instruments being played right before their eyes. Band members took time to introduce each instrument and let the students hear its sound individually before coming together for an energetic performance of traditional Mardi Gras music. 🎭🎶
The highlight of the morning? A lively 2nd line procession, where the band filled the room with festive music as our littlest Eagles clapped and waved along to the beat! 💜💚💛
This experience was a perfect blend of music, culture, and connection, giving our Early Childhood students a firsthand look at the power of music while allowing our high school band members to share their talents and passion with the next generation of Eagles!
