Tell us about your family:
– I was born and raised in Baton Rouge and started my Parkview journey all the way back in daycare! The first 18 years of my life were spent here and I loved it! While in college, I met my husband, Luis. We just got married on August 31st, the day before LSU kickoff which is almost just as important to us.

“My favorite Scripture verse is Exodus 14:14: “The Lord your God will fight for you; you need only be still.”

Do you have an interesting fact?
– I have my own personal national championship ring from the 2019 LSU National Championship season. I was on staff when we won and received all the same rings the players did.

What is your hidden talent?
– I sang in choir for 8 years so I’ll say singing, but I wouldn’t really say “talent”!

What made you want to come to Parkview?
– My senior year at Parkview, I used to say that I would come back and teach Bible here one day. It was mostly a joke that eventually turned into a real desire. I loved my time here and am so excited that I will get to make an impact on my students the same way my teachers did for me!

Why is Christian education important?
– The Christian education that students receive at Parkview really lays the foundation for their faith. It is so important to graduate from Parkview understanding that Christ loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us so that we can have a relationship with Him. This is not something the world tries to teach you when you leave Parkview. It’s so important to grow your faith while in school here so that when you graduate, you are able to stand firm in your beliefs and make Him known.

Anything else awesome & interesting you want the PBS family to know?
– I was voted Most School Spirit by my senior class and am coming back with that same spirit! Go Eagles!
