Congratulations to the Parkview Baptist School High School Band, Silver Steppers, and Blue Extreme for their performance of their halftime show, Pixels, on Saturday, October 21st at the Dutchtown Marching Invitational.  Together, they earned first place in their division across all captions: band, percussion, and auxiliary.  They earned high marks for their performance, with the superior rating awarded to the percussion and auxiliary units.  The Parkview Baptist Marching Band has competed at various regional marching competitions over the years, and they consistently score high ratings for their performances.  These students work and practice hard, in the hot Louisiana weather, to achieve excellence.  It is the band’s mission to develop students to the highest degree possible that they may become mature and complete and live life to its fullest in Christ, while setting the standard of excellence in the creation, analysis, performance, and enjoyment of music.  Congratulations again to all the student performers and to Band Director Sean Bramley for his tireless efforts toward the Parkview Baptist School Band program’s success.
