Name:
– Mrs. Christina Cameron
Grades and Subjects Teaching:
– 6th & 7th Grade Math
Year you began your teaching career:
– 2003
Degrees:
– M. Education from LSU
Tell us about your family:
– I am married to Jeremy Cameron and we will celebrate our 22nd anniversary on August 17. We have two children – Bryton who is 18 and just graduated and our daughter Brailyn is in 8th grade and has joined me here at PBS.

My verse for this year is Proverbs 18:21. “The tongue can bring life or death, those who love to talk will reap the consequences.” This year I want to challenge my students to speak only “life words”!

Do you have an interesting fact?
– We love all of our animals, including our pot belly pig and our peacocks!
– I love decorating for events – flowers, balloons, centerpieces. I love a party!
What made you want to come to Parkview?
– I love Christian private school. I love working in an environment where I can openly love and pray for my coworkers and students. I love my children being surrounded by that same Christian environment, where I know their teachers are also praying for them. The vibe I immediately got here at PBS was so refreshing and life-giving! I’m so excited God brought us to Parkview!
Why is Christian education important?
– As children grow, they experience so many changes – both physically and emotionally. I love being able to pour Scripture into them as they’re going through something. I love being able to encourage them and to pray with them. And I love seeing their relationship with God grow, and as a result – watching their relationship with their family and friends also grow.
