Tell us about your family: I grew up in Baton Rouge and am a Parkview 2002 Alum. I played soccer at Texas A&M and LSU and my husband Jayme swam at Stanford University in California with my sister Shelly (PBS 1998 Alum). We met in 2005 and were married in 2006. We will have been married 17 years this October. We have four children: Lucy (9th grade), Molly (8th grade), Leland (5th grade), Mary Noelle (PreK 3) who are all here at Parkview.
I have been involved in the sport of soccer for 34 years. 18 as an athlete, 20 as a coach (personal training, club, middle school, high school and youth recreation leagues. This will be my eighth year of coaching high school soccer.

Do you have an interesting fact?
– I almost chose to attend Florida State University for college soccer because I also considered being part of their “flying high circus” as I dabble in unicycle riding and juggling for fun!
– Me and my sister Shelly (PBS Class of 1998) are both in the PBS athletic Hall of Fame (Shelly 2010 inductee and myself, 2013 and we are both in the LHSAA Hall of Fame together. (Shelly 2022 inductee and myself, 2023)
What made you want to come to Parkview?
– I graduated from Parkview and taught here previously for six years and wanted my children back here with me to be immersed in God’s Word. We want our family to be surrounded by classmates and teachers, coaches and coworkers who love Jesus and be at a school where we can worship Jesus, have praise music going in the hallways and classrooms and not have to think twice. Parkview is home and its family and above all it helps me and my kids to grow in all four areas, academics, athletics, arts but most importantly abundant life and faith!
Why is Christian education important?
– Christian education is important to me because our identity is going in Jesus Christ. It is vital that my children are surrounded by Godly classmates, teammates, friends, coaches and mentors who help them become more like Jesus each and everyday. Parkview gives them a chance to learn to be Christian leaders in a broken world and the ability to stand strong in their faith when they leave the hallways of this school, just as I was enabled to do so by attending Parkview myself. There is no greater gift than knowing my children will walk with the Lord!
