Allison Leake has been named the new volleyball coach at Parkview Baptist after spending two years as an assistant on the staff.
Prior to joining the Eagles, Leake served as the head coach of St. Amant High School guiding the Gators to the playoffs in each of her 15 years at the helm. St. Amant made appearances in three Division I semifinals and seven quarterfinals under Leake and earned the No. 2 overall seed in 2012.
Leake was named All-Metro coach of the year three times while at St. Amant while claiming 11 district titles.
“Parkview Baptist volleyball has been known for its remarkable program through the years, and I’m honored and blessed to be able to build upon all of those successes,” Leake said. “My first high school coaching job was here at Parkview almost 20 years ago, so I’m thrilled God is bringing me back to work in the Parkview community.”
Leake replaces Becky Madden who has coached volleyball for over 35 years, including the last 14 years at Parkview. During this time she has guided the Eagles to 14 State tournament appearances and seven district titles. Additionally, Coach Madden grew an extensive Middle School program and invested in the academic and personal growth of her athletes.
“Parkview is in great hands with Allison as the head volleyball coach,” Madden said. “She is a person with a long history of success in high school and will do a great job of continuing the success that we have built here at Parkview.”
Madden will continue to serve as the High School Dean of Students.
