The Cross Country team had another great week at Highland Road Park at the 44th Episcopal Round Table Run on Saturday, September 10 with the boys team posting a commanding 2nd place finish among a large field of 35 teams and over 300 runners.  The Eagles were also the first DIII team in and were an excellent example of how to win using pack running.  Leading the charge for the Eagles was Aiden Monistere with a time of 16:40.94 (16), which is a top 25 school time.  Kohl Feucht was the second man in with a time of 16:52.35 (22).  He was followed closely by the next three scoring runners Ethan Delatte (17:08.90 PR(32), Konner Broussard (17:21.02 (46)), and Caleb Whipp (17:25.20 PR(49)).  Rounding out the top ten were Reed Boudreaux (17:43.73 PR(68)), Miles Moton (18:44.25 (126)), Bruce Morello (19:12.16 (154)), Ben Beach (20:15.10 (207)), and Mason Liner (20:59.08 PR (237)).  Four of these runners posted Personal Records at this race.
The girls varsity team were the second race of the morning and were lead by Gracie Pepitone (21:13.99 (41), followed by Brynlie Monistere (21:53.99 PR (52)), Grace Davis (22:40.65 (84)), Caroline McCulloch (22:44.62 (86)), and Maggie Liner (23:39.30 (112)).  The girls team has the start of something that could mean big things for the season.  This will be a team to watch.
Runners in the JV race included Philip Lee (22:49.24 (PR)) and Jacob Ramey (22:33.70 (PR)).
The Cross Country team will be back in action Friday, September 16 at the BSN Sports Cross Country Invitational at St. Thomas Aquinas.
