Name:
– Mrs. Caitlyn Klingman
Grades and Subjects Teaching:
– Bible I
Year you began your teaching career:
– 2013
Degrees:
– B.S., Athletic Training from LSU
– M.S., Health Promotion & Health Education from Mississippi State University

Tell us about your family:
– I was born and raised in Memphis, TN but moved to Baton Rouge in 2000. I graduated from Dutchtown High School and taught at St. Amant High School for the last eight years. I am married to Derrick and we have two daughters that attend Parkview with me – Georgia Anna (4) and Alyce Grace (2).

My Favorite Verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.”

Do you have an interesting fact?
– I learned to water ski at the age of 5 and my oldest daughter learned at the age of 2!
Why is Christian education important?
– Christian education helps a student understand what the Bible is telling them, create a relationship with Christ based on Scripture and allow them to stand firm in their faith when they go out into the world and face daily challenges.
