5th Graders participated in the Measurement Olympics during their first week of Science Class.
They competed in 6 activities to become familiar with metric system measurements and scientific tools. The 6 activities were the straw javelin, the paper plate toss, the right handed marble grab, the left handed sponge squeeze, the long jump and jumping jacks.
The top 3 teams from each class were awarded the gold, silver and bronze medals at the closing ceremony where all teams displayed their team flags. Way To Go 5th Graders!
