Parkview Baptist School is pleased to announce Brad Voight has been named Head Boys Basketball Coach. Voight, who grew up watching his father coach collegiate basketball, comes to PBS with vast experience as a coach and a former player. Most recently, Voight served as Head Basketball Coach at Woodlawn High School where he compiled a 43-20 record during his first two years at the helm of the program. Voight has 100 career wins and led his team to state championship game appearances in 2013 and 2014. In 2014, his Dexter High School Basketball team took home the State Championship title.
Voight played varsity basketball throughout this high school career and continued to play at the collegiate level after receiving a full scholarship to Eastern Arizona College as well as Grayson County College. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Bluefield State College, Voight attended Eastern New Mexico University and earned his master’s degree in Secondary Education.
Voight has coached High School Basketball for 11 years now and looks forward to sharing his passion for the game. “I look forward to being a part of such a prestigious place that seeks first the Kingdom of God. Parkview holds a special place in my heart as my wife is an alum, and I look forward to being able to serve others through the sport that has given me so much,” stated Voight.
Voight has been married to his wife Brittney Denley, a 2007 Parkview graduate, for 8 years. They have one child, Cameron, who is 10 months old.
