“I have had the opportunity to know Becky Polk as a Biology teacher, an administrator on our data team, and as Assistant Principal in High School. She has excelled at each level. While she has many qualities that are difficult to teach a leader, I most appreciate her heart for her staff and her dedication to serve Parkview. She will fit in well with our long-standing ethos of high standards, in a caring, family atmosphere,” stated Superintendent Dr. Don Mayes who has been serving as High School Division Head over the last year.
Polk and her husband, Derek, met in her hometown of St. Francisville, LA. They have a 13-year-old daughter, Aadyn, who plays volleyball and softball, and a 9-year-old daughter, Gemma, who dances and plays golf.
“I’m excited to continue serving a Christ-centered community steep in tradition and academic excellence. With our families, we work to ensure our graduates can be competitive in post-secondary opportunities as they make their way in this world. I look forward to continuing that commitment alongside an exceptional faculty,” said Polk.
