Name:
– Mrs. Sarah Trahan
Grades and Subjects Teaching:
– Pre-K 4 Teacher
Year you began your teaching career:
– 2017
Degrees:
– B.A. in General Studies from Southeastern Louisiana University
Tell us about your family:
– I grew up and now live in Baton Rouge with my husband Chris. We have been married for 4 years and we have a beautiful 2 year old son, Peter.

I wanted to be able to provide my students and my son with a Christ-centered education and I love being a part of a school that feels like a family.

Do you have an interesting fact?
– I have been told that I make the best sandwiches!
– I can rollerblade and ice skate pretty well!
– I love to play sand volleyball.
Why is Christian education important?
– Academics are important, but students need to develop emotionally and spiritually as well. Growing up attending a Christian school, I always appreciated and loved when teachers prayed with me and took the time to mentor me in tough times. I remember that compassion and love way more than what I learned in Algebra or Physics!
