Name:
– Mrs. Allison Leake
Grades and Subjects Teaching:
– High School Athletic Administrative Assistant
Year you began your teaching career:
– 2004
Degrees:
– B.S. in Secondary Education from Louisiana State University
Tell us about your family:
– In 2006, I married Casey Leake and moved to Gonzales, Louisiana to begin my tenure as a teacher, assistant athletic director, and head volleyball coach at St. Amant High School, which lasted 15 years. Together, Casey and I have 2 children, Easton (10) and Harper (6), who are 2 big reasons why I am now back at Parkview Baptist.

I love the family atmosphere of the school from the parents to the staff and teachers. We were extremely impressed with the academics we saw on our tour as a family. It was a blessing for our family to be offered this opportunity to be a part of the Parkview Baptist family.

Do you have an interesting fact?
– I lived in Innsbruck, Austria for 6 months for a semester abroad and traveled around Europe with a group of students and by myself.
– I can draw, but I don’t have time to do it often. I also found out during quarantine that I can cut hair pretty well.
– I love traveling and I collect spoons from each destination, and they are all hanging in a case in my kitchen.
Why is Christian education important?
– I love that our children get to hear and learn about God on a daily basis and are free to praise him. Our world if ever changing so to have our future generations know and love God is so important for all of mankind to flourish.
