Christian Williams Signs With Sam Houston State

Parkview Baptist senior Christian Williams signed a letter of intent to join the Sam Houston State football team on Wednesday, December 16.
In two seasons at Parkview, Williams totaled 35 receptions and 306 yards with three touchdowns as a receiver while also notching 46 tackles, 3.0 tackles-for-loss and two interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.
As a senior, Williams helped guide the Eagles to the quarterfinal round of the LHSAA Division II playoffs while totaling 19 receptions for 146 yards and a score. Defensively, Williams had 25 tackles, 2.0 TFL and two interceptions.
In his junior campaign, Williams hauled in 16 passes for 160 yards and two TDs while also making 21 stops as a defensive back.
Williams is the second player under head coach Stefan LeFors to join a Division I program joining De’Santo Rollins who signed with Ole Miss in 2019.
