Jr. Beta Club Inducts New Members

The Parkview Baptist Chapter of the National Junior Beta Club held their annual induction ceremony in the sanctuary on October 29, where forty-nine new members were inducted from sixth, seventh and eighth grade. This speaks volumes to their commitment to academic excellence as each student finished the previous school year with a 3.75 GPA or higher. “Due to COVID restrictions and social distancing, it was a small ceremony, but nonetheless we succeeded in being able to include parents. That was important to me. Administration was incredibly helpful to make the event possible, and we are all so delighted to welcome our new members” sponsor Marja Liner said.

Each student was asked to pledge to uphold the standards of the national club: to be honest and truthful, maintain a creditable scholastic record, be of service to teachers and fellow men, conduct themselves in an ethical and moral manner and reflect credit upon their school and community. Upon receiving recognition, each member received a Beta Club pin and a certification of recognition, along with a membership card. Please congratulate the newest members to the club for the 2020-2021 school year.
