Name:
– Mrs. Ramona Eberly
Grades and Subjects Teaching:
– Flex Program – Science/Biology
Year you began your teaching career:
– 1997
Degrees:
– B.S. in Dietetics from Southeastern Louisiana University
Tell us about your family:
– My husband, Charles, is a retired neurologist. I have two sons, Alex and Nicholas. Alex is 21 years old and Nicholas is 20 years old. We also have two dogs. Rowan is a Belgian Malinois and Luna is a Catahoula mix.

I am very excited to be joining the Parkview staff. With Runnels closing at the end of the last school year I was looking for a new position. I had heard many great things about Parkview’s Flex program and felt like it would be an excellent fit for me.

Do you have an interesting fact?
– Teaching is my second career. My first career was as a Registered Dietitian with a certification in diabetes education.
– Most people who have eaten my cooking say that I am a talented cook.
– I love Jane Austen.
– I have been teaching myself how to crochet.
Why is Christian education important?
– Shortly after I had my first child, I remember being told to raise him to know and love our Lord, so that one day (hopefully many, many years from now) when he dies he will meet a friend and not a stranger. This is what I frequently thought about when bringing my children up in a Christian school. I wanted them to be pleasing to our Lord. Although my children are adults now I believe on a broader scale that there is an urgent need in our society today to teach/share Christian teachings, morality and values because in many places these are being attacked or suppressed.
