Tell us about your family:
– My family consists of my wonderful husband Skye and our three daughters Camille, Evelyn, and Isabelle.
When my oldest daughter was born we began looking for a new church. Mr. Norm met us is the parking lot of the Parkview Baptist Church our first Sunday and we instantly felt welcomed. We became church members and attended the Matessino’s Sunday school class and knew that Parkview was home. We enrolled our first daughter in daycare when she was just three months old and can’t imagine our children any where else. It has been heartwarming to watch her grow not only in academics but in her love for Jesus. I spent some time working with the church daycare and that’s when I really got to see the more of what the school had to offer. I knew that I wanted my children to attend Parkview Baptist but it wasn’t until I returned to Public School that I realized how much Parkview had touched my heart and how Jesus was calling me back.

Do you have an interesting fact?
– I was a member of the Tigerband Colorguard.
– We have 2 hermit crabs, 2 cats, and 6 anoles (the green lizards).
– I cannot live without tacos!
– I love the outdoors.
Why is Christian education important?
– I believe that Christian education is important because it gives students a strong foundation where they are constantly seeking to know God – one that Jesus calls for us to instill in our children. This is especially important in today’s world that is filled with shifting morals and values.
