Tell us about your family:
– My family consists of my loving husband Matt and my 3 wonderful kids-Violet (age 11), Matthew (age 8) and Victor (age 6).

When the Runnels School closed we needed to find another school home. Parkview Baptist is well known in the community for providing an excellent Christian education and that’s what I want for myself and my kids.

Do you have an interesting fact?
– I have 10 chickens!
– I can cook the perfect grilled cheese!
– My husband and I renovate and build homes in our spare time. When our house burned down in 2013, we got a crash course in rebuilding. Since we had a longtime interest in real estate, we decided to use what we learned to move our family forward. Renovating and building homes is something we do as an entire family and that makes it a lot of fun!

Why is Christian education important?
– Christian education is important to me because I believe people need to know the truth about who they are-that they have an identity as a child of God. When people embrace that, it changes everything.
