Name:
– Mrs. Sarah Gregoire Salpietra
Position:
– Director of Baton Rouge Flex, Learning Coach and Math Content Specialist
Year you began your teaching career:
– 2013
Degrees:
– B.S. in Mathematics Education from Southeastern Louisiana University
– M. Ed. in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University
Tell us about your family:
– In June 2020, I married Kyle Salpietra who teaches 9th grade Bible at PBS.

I’ve taught in the public school system for 7 years. While I have had the opportunity to witness to and pray for students, I look forward to the spiritual freedom that teaching at Parkview provides.

Do you have an interesting fact?
– I am a 13 year graduate of the Class of 2009.
– I’ve got some mad kayaking skills.
– While I am super girlie, I also enjoy a good outdoor adventure.
Why is Christian education important?
– During this uncertain time, a Biblical world view is necessary to maintain joy and hope. Students are better prepared for life in our society when they hope in the Lord and their joy is found in Him.
