School Closed – Thursday, August 27

Dear Parkview Family, 

Today was an awesome day with lots of smiles and activity, but we are cancelling school for Thursday, August 27.  Please be in prayer for those in the path of this major storm.  Many fellow Louisianans will be affected by this and I know we will pray, and pull together to help.  Stay safe as this storm passes.  We will see everyone back in school on Friday.
 
Our students got their first look and taste of our new cafeteria today and there were lots of happy faces! We only had a few minor glitches that we will be able to smooth out as we serve our students, but I would call it a huge success.  Thank you to all our families who continue to support us through our Blessing Campaign.  Without you, this day could not have happened.  It was truly a blessing to see the excitement and have such a modern and expansive place to eat.  Since coming to Parkview in 1984, it was my first time to see lunch in a new cafeteria.  What an amazing transformation.  Our Parkview Church and school family is second to none.  I look forward to the day when we do not have to social distance and we can be at full capacity!
